Who We Are

The Center Stage “Outreach Team” was created to bring the art of dance to everyone in the community. The team is comprised of passionate students and teachers ranging from ages 5 through adult who dedicate their time for this unique cause. Our dancers and teachers alike capture the essence of our organization’s beliefs and values and define its place in the community.

 

What We Do

The “Outreach Team” is out in the community providing education, instruction and performances for benefits, charities, church festivals, arts enrichment programs, public and private schools, public libraries, The Plymouth Council on Aging, Visiting Angels, “Walk For A Cure”, nursing homes, “Dancing For A Cure” long term care pediatric units, Plymouth Philharmonic, parades, exhibitions, “The Jerry Lewis Telethon”, and works closely with the special needs community and the Arc of Greater Plymouth. We perform yearly in the Boston Celtics pregame show and biannually on board Norwegian Cruise Lines. We have been guests of the Corporation of St. George in their Market Night Festival and Royal Naval Nights, and have received a proclamation for our work there.

 

What We Offer

We offer dance education, performances, and lecture demonstrations in all dance disciplines, to all ages and abilities. The Outreach Team raises money for other charitable causes and provides scholarships to dancers in need.

 

Why We Do It

We love to educate, encourage, motivate, inspire, enlighten and entertain, bringing the joy of movement to children and adults through our love for the arts.
